Ponce de Leon was opened in 1991 by Arkansas own PGA tour player BIG John Daly. It has been ranked in the top 10 golf courses in the state by Golf Digest. fairways are tifway II bermuda grass and the greens are made of penn cross/crenshaw bent grass.
